Praise A/G's five Year plan
If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves;
But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
Proverbs 29:18 (MsgB)
Our community is ripe unto harvest and God wants us to gather in a harvest of souls so that none is lost. It is up to us to see what God wants to do in and through us and then to partner with Him to see the vision come to reality. God does not simply want us to make converts; we are to make disciples! We are going to do our part to not only see "the sought" be found, but to also be added to the church.
We cannot do it without YOU! We want you to be a part of the Vision 2012 plan.
We need you to PRAY! Only through prayer with a continual reliance upon the Holy Spirit will we see God's will for our church accomplished. Pray that God will use us to accomplish His purpose.
We need you to JOIN a Life Connection small group. This is our primary means of discipleship. You cannot make disciples unless you are a disciple. What are you doing to grow in your personal relationship with Christ beyond the Sunday morning worship service? Get connected to God and to others in the body of Christ; that's the only way to remain spiritually healthy.
We need you to INVITE family and friends to come to a Life Connection small group and in turn our Sunday morning worship celebration. Life Connection is the best way for us to make disciples as individuals make a connection to God and other believers.
We need you to GIVE of your tithes and offerings. As you will see we've set some aggressive goals for growth, but the only way we can develop the ministries we need to reach our community effectivly is as we all are obedient to give as the Lord directs us. This begins with the tithe (the first 10% of your income) and continues with our offerings. If we all give we will have more than enough to do what God has called us to do.
Here are some of the goals we have set over the next five years:
Salvations Water Baptisms Holy Spirit Baptisms Average Sunday Attendance
2007 5 5 5 85 20% increase
2008 15 15 15 105 23% increase
2009 20 20 20 135 28% increase
2010 25 25 25 150 12% increase
2011 30 30 30 190 26% increase
To help us reach these goals here are some of the things we need to do to make the vision a reality:
2007 Develop a Vision 2012 committee. Open the wall between classrooms for expansion of children's ministries. Continue to develop our Life Connection small groups.
2008 Expand our Life Connection small groups with an emphasis upon evangelism. Establish a New Believers discipleship group that is on going. Develop a missions committee
2009 Return to two Sunday morning worship services. Develop a Building Committee to begin planning construction of a new sanctuary-phase two of our master plan.
2010 Present plans for construction and begin a capital campaign for construction.
2011 Continue to grow and develop on going momentum to reach and exceed our goal. Pray for a miracle that we not only raise funds for new construction but that we can enter the building project debt free!
2012 Construction of new worship center and sactuary.
Together we can see the vision become a reality. NOTHING IS TO HARD FOR GOD!

Two years after the founding of the Assemblies of God, members adopted 16 beliefs for the Fellowship. This list, known as the Statement of Fundamental Truths, remains virtually unchanged. Four of these beliefs are considered the major tenets of the Fellowship. They are:
1. Salvation Through Jesus Christ (John 3:3, 16, 17; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8, 9)
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.
2. Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 17, 18, 38, 39)
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
3. Divine Healing for the Sick (James 5:14-16)
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.
4. The Second Coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
