We have a simple way of doing things here at Praise.
Eight words tell our story:
We're Family: Connect, Grow and Serve with us!
"We're Family" is the foundation and center of everything we do. Right from the start God created the family. The family is not only God's idea, but because it came first the family is the foundation upon which ALL other institutions are built. In the same way that a chain is no stronger than its weakest link, so too no church (and no community or nation) is any stronger than the families that make it up. At Praise we keep family first.

Our Worship Style:
We invite you to connect with God as our loving heavenly Father and to connect with us as brothers and sisters in His family. You will soon discover that our worship is lively - filled with music, singing, and heartfelt expressions of love to God. Join with us in freely expressing our praise and worship to God.
Because we're family you are welcome to come as you are. We are not here to try to impress anyone - especially God. People look at faces, clothing and other things, but God looks at our hearts - deep inside to see who we really are.
Our services are family friendly. Children participate with us because they will learn to connect with God in worship by watching their parents and other adults. A nursery is available for babies if you like, and children through 5th grade are dismissed midway through the service for age appropriate teaching.
We don't want to just go through the motions of a church service; we want to encounter God. As we worship God responds to us. Our prayer is that His presence will be made known to each of us in a special way. We regularly take time for prayer - not to talk TO God but to talk WITH Him. Both individually and corporately we want to have a dialog with God.
In our time together we believe that God will speak to us through a variety of ways. He will whisper individually to our hearts. Sometime God will speak to us through the gifts of His Holy Spirit working through people just like you and me. And God will speak through the preaching of His Word; sermons are biblical and relevant to our daily lives.
Our heavenly Father loves us just the way we are, but He won't leave us that way. God wants to grow Jesus in us. His love overflows both in and through our lives so we can both love God with everything in us and love each other unselfishly. With a heart of love we become more and more like Jesus becoming His hands and feet to serve others in our church, community and world.
We invite you to be our guest this week as we connect with God. We pray that you will experience His smile as we join together as family.

How is my local church affiliated with the Assemblies of God?
Within the fellowship of the Assemblies of God there are two classifications of churches - General Council affiliated churches and district affiliated churches. General Council affiliated churches enjoy full autonomy, having developed to the point of where they are self-governing and self-supporting. These fundamental principles have been catalysts for growth in the Fellowship. District affiliated churches are those which have not yet developed to the point where they qualify for full autonomy. All assemblies are required to adhere to the Statement of Fundamental Truths and a biblical pattern of conduct. Learn More
What distinguishes the Assemblies of God from other Christian groups?
The Assemblies of God is an evangelic protestant fellowship that believes God exists in three persons -- the Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. The most definitive identification of the Assemblies of God is Pentecostal. Just as it was founded in 1914, the Fellowship remains a full gospel church—one where the fullness of the Holy Spirit is welcomed, nurtured, and taught. This includes speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Other manifestations of the Holy Spirit embraced by the church include: messages in tongues with interpretations, prophecies, word of knowledge, and the complete gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit as indicated in the Bible. Among Pentecostal churches—the Assemblies of God is largest worldwide with over 52 million constituents.
